In this video installation in the format of a long vertical strip, a woman and a man, dressed in the water element, slowly sink into the ocean waters until they disappear at the bottom.

The work invites the viewer to reflect on the correlation between diving in water and diving into the unconscious, exploring the hidden layers of the human psyche and confronting one's own inner abysses.

Water, a fundamental element for life, evokes the idea of returning to our primordial roots. The oceanic depths suggest a solitary journey of introspection, a desire to escape the chaotic and warlike contemporary world. The act of sinking into the water can be interpreted as a search for a world free from tension. The ocean, like a silent refuge, becomes a place where it seems possible to suspend time and calm the mind.

Asphyxiation or freedom? Peace or passivity? Deep or narrow? Fae or phobic? Ocean or unconscious? Water or sorrows? Lightness or hardness? The work is an invitation to confront the “monsters of the deep” themselves and to reflect on the correlation between diving in the waters - the origin of life - and the hidden layers of the human psyche.
